    We are currently seeking junior-level packaging designers to join our dynamic art department.

    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    1. Designing packaging and promotional materials, including mock-ups, presentations, DTP, catalogue creation, flyer design, product photography, deep etching, retouching, and repro for print.
    2. Creating brands and logos with CI design knowledge.
    3. Developing illustrations and patterns.
    4. You will need to be self-sufficient and able to problem solve.
    5. Monitor your own time, review your work, and maintain consistency.
    6. Work efficiently and effectively.
    7. Understand die lines and adjust dies according to new sizes.
    8. As a senior team member, you will be expected to perform at a higher level, produce polished designs, work faster, and create original designs compared to junior designers.
    9. You may be required to mentor and assist junior designers from time to time.
    10. It is essential to have a thorough understanding of the print process, different printing methods, colour separation, print preparation, and repro.

    Requirements

    1. Degree or equivalent in design.
    2. One to two years' experience working within a studio or agency on packaging, presentations, and layout (DTP).
    3. Familiarity with repro for print.
    4. Understanding of best practice for print.
    5. Ability to read dielines and amend dies as needed.
    6. Portfolio of packaging work.
    7. Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
    8. Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, PDF, and Excel.
    9. Computer literacy (PC or Mac).

    Advantageous Skills

    Proficiency in 3D design using Blender.
