Hpp - Contract Manager - Ethiopia - Johannesburg, South Africa - U.G.T.

Description

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Contract Manager for a minimum of 12 months in Ethiopia.

As part of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project, for which our client is acting as the employer's representative, the Contract Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising contractual activities on the site (day-to-day management of contracts, management of claims and variations).

Working directly with the site office, the head office team and the Ethiopian client, the department is responsible for overseeing the project's contractual documentation and assisting the client in its efforts to manage the rich contractual framework alongside the project contractors.

Contract Management is the point of reference for all contract-related issues and is particularly responsible for analysing claims and responding to contractors.

• Minimum expertise required: 20 years minimum, including 10 years in contract management;
• Extensive experience in EPC contract management (FIDIC silver/yellow), including claims, variations ;
• Experience of the dispute resolution process;
• Experience of major infrastructure development projects and construction sites in Africa (on site);
• Experience abroad, preferably in Africa (minimum 5 years);
• Experience in hydroelectric projects;
• Languages / Level: English (mandatory); French (optional).
