    Description

    External Sales Representative

    Location: Cape Town, South Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate sales by calling on existing and potential customers, utilizing the company's tools and technology to drive revenue growth.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
    • Identify and prescribe products or services based on customer needs, ensuring optimal solutions are provided.
    • Promote current specials and offerings to drive sales and revenue.
    • Visit customers regularly, following a call cycle to maintain strong relationships and drive sales.
    • Cold call potential new customers to expand the customer base.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
    • Detailed checking and analysis skills, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
    • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including SAP.
    • Willingness to travel and work independently, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Technical industry-related background, preferably in refrigeration and air-conditioning.
    • Ability to work independently without supervision, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.

    Education:

    • National Senior Certificate (matric) or equivalent qualification.

    Experience:

    • Preferred 3 years' experience in a technical or sales role, preferably in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry.

    Remuneration:

    • Basic salary: R24 000 per annum.
    • Commission-based remuneration structure.
    • Company car.
    • Petrol card.
    • Phone/data allowance.
