    The purpose of this role is to provide new and existing clients with professional and relevant financial advice, planning and products that are suited to their needs and requirements. You will be responsible for growing the Sanlam Adviser Business by procuring sustainable business of a high quality, maintaining and servicing clients as part of a long-term relationship which builds loyalty to the brand and generates ongoing advice and sales.

    What does success look like in this role?

    • You will assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business by applying knowledge and understanding of market segmentation and customer profiles to support sales and growth within the defined market.
    • You will undertake relevant behaviours to attain targets relating to revenue generation, activity quotas, promoting the Sanlam brand and treating customers fairly.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Networking, prospecting and leads generation through face to face interactions, social media marketing and mining of existing client base.
    • Client consultations and sales including conducting financial needs analysis, providing personal financial planning advice and presenting financial solutions to clients.
    • Client service ensuring all client interactions are ethical, courteous and professional.
    • Monitoring, updating and reporting on activities including number and profile of contacts, appointments, consultations, issued business and revenue against targets.

    What qualifications and experience do we require?

    We require a Grade 12 qualification and completion of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS)
