Are you a talented wordsmith with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail?

An established and leading manufacturer and supplier of abrasives and accessories to the automotive, marine, woodworking, DIY, metal, aeronautical and composite industries
- is on the hunt for a
mature and experienced Content Copywriter to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's narrative.

As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our
bi-annual magazine, ensuring it resonates with our target audience and reflects our brand's voice.

Your daily, weekly, and monthly duties will encompass a wide range of tasks, from content creation to proofreading to content planning to SEO optimization to photography (bonus).

Daily functions:

Content Creation:

Write compelling content for our biannual magazine, covering news, new products, testimonials, and features.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate relevant information into content.

Proofreading and Editing:

Meticulously proofread and edit content to ensure professionalism and accuracy.
Pay attention to nuances in language, grammar, and style.

Photography:

Manage visual aspects of the magazine by selecting appropriate images to complement written content.
Take team photos, cover social events, and document long service awards as needed.

Weekly/monthly duties:

Content planning and management:

Develop a comprehensive content plan for the magazine, including themes, topics, and deadlines.
Collaborate with different business units to gather information, insights, and stories for a diverse and topical magazine.

Continuous learning and professional development:

Stay updated on industry trends, writing styles, and content marketing strategies.
Ensure that content remains fresh and aligned with best practices.

Key deliverables:

Oversee the endtoend production of two magazine issues per year, from conceptualization to final proofing and distribution.
Craft and distribute six newsletters annually, incorporating relevant updates, success stories, and industry insights.

Blog management:

Regularly update the blog sections of our websites with news, industry trends, and insightful articles.
Publish two new stories per company per month on group sites and the portal.

Key skills:

Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Must have a good command of the English language.
Strong planning and time management abilities. They must be able to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of content strategy development, including audience segmentation, content mapping, and distribution plans.
Coachability possess an openness to learn, high levels of adaptability and receptive to feedback.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
