Description

We are seeking a driven sales executive to join our team in the Freight industry. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for promoting sales, conversions, and rentals of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote sales, conversions, and rentals of our products to meet budget expectations
Prepare and submit quotations to existing and prospective clients
Develop the general market by identifying potential new clients and securing their business
Perform administrative tasks to complete the sales cycle, including forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, and data entry
Proactively call on accounts on targeted lists using the customer database
Build on the customer database within targeted market segments through prospecting, networking, email/e-marketing, or utilizing Internet information sources
E nsure prospective, current, and future clients understand and adhere to our standard terms and conditions
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities for current and future clients
Handle basic administrative duties, such as day-to-day tracking of Containers, Credit Application Facilities, and debtors management

Requirements:

Grade 12 qualification
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing (advantageous)
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
5-10 years of Sales experience in the Freight industry
3-5 years of working experience in a Depot Industry
3-5 years of working experience in Debtor Management
Ability to perform functions such as Invoicing, tracking, debt collection, and completion of POD's
Strong background in administration, including debtor administration
Able to work independently in a depot environment

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
