Description
Master Qualified Vehicle Technician required in Midrand, Gauteng.


Job purpose:

Responsible for diagnosing faults, doing repairs, and quality control in accordance with prescribed customer and company standards. Deliver high quality technical expertise and ensure customer satisfaction.


Requirements:


  • Master Technician Qualification Certificate
  • Motor Vehicle Trade Test Certificate (Petrol)
  • Solid knowledge of premium motor vehicles with fault finding and diagnostic (electrical and mechanical) skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Valid drivers license
  • Clear criminal record

Responsibilities:


  • Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis
  • Diagnostic repairs (mechanical and electrical)
  • Conducting final inspections and functional tests
  • Preparing relevant reports for vehicle handover
  • Ensuring quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Responsible for ensuring the workshop and work areas are always kept clean and tidy
  • Mentoring of junior mechanics / apprentices

Remuneration:

Negotiable Basic Salary + Incentives + Benefits
