A great courier company based in East Rand is seeking the expertise of a Safety Health Officer to join their team of professionals

Job Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
A relevant Health &

Safety qualification
At least 2-3 years' experience in a

safety role preferable courier industry
MS Office proficient
Good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Good organizational skills
Ability to maintain effective work relationships

Responsibilities
Conduct branch visits on a monthly basis
Monthly checking with managers on any issues raised
Ensure full compliance and timeous submission of documents
Communicate and follow-up on all reported IOD's
Ensure all new employees are inducted on SHE matters
Gap identification on SHE related training is performed
Ensure that all medicals are completed prior to training of practical eg Forklift
