OBC Compliance Administrator

Key Purpose:


The incumbent will effectively manage and minimize risks with transport operations by ensuring compliance with HSE rules and regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and positively contributing to the company's HSE KPI's and risk reduction strategies, and enforcement of HSE requirements within the area of responsibility.


Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Always ensure health of OBC systems and its ultimate functioning
  • Manage the good health of the systems, integrity of the database and reports provided from these systems with corrective action plans in place.
  • Ensure compliance to Makwande and customer rules.
  • Analyses depot and driver performance and provide recommendations for correction actions. Monitor the action plans of the depots and ensure closure.
  • Support users throughout the business with OBC related matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce daily and monthly reports which should include trend analysis.
  • Assist Line Managers with identifying and managing potentially dangerous driving behaviors and driver related risks.

Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Transport/Logistics (experience in Telematics will be advantageous).
  • Good computer literacy (excel skill essential).
  • Understanding of BVO behavior concepts, such as harsh braking, harsh acceleration, fatigue, over speeding, night driving, etc.
