Are you ready to join a dynamic team of seasoned financial experts with over 100 years of combined experience? A boutique Financial Services company in Pretoria is seeking an IT Systems Manager to play a pivotal role in our client's continued growth and success.

Position Overview:

As the IT Systems Manager, you will be at the forefront of their technical operations, responsible for research, development, testing, and implementation of new technologies.

Reporting directly to the CIO, you will oversee high-level technical solutions, support, systems operations, and continuous development within our Information Technology services.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure daily operational effectiveness, with a focus on the availability of businesscritical systems for endusers.
Maintain operational connectivity with banks and client systems.
Keep mobile and endpoint devices secure and uptodate.
Assist with Treasury Management System implementations.
Ensure availability of server environments and network resources.
Provide Cyber Security awareness and training.
Develop and enforce IT policies in line with company requirements.
Control user access and manage privileged access.
Provide technical assistance on finance and payroll software.
Troubleshoot escalated workstation issues.

Knowledge Required:

Azure Cloud environments
Enterprise Server environments
API Security and Connectivity
IT Controls such as ISO2700
Google Workspace Enterprise or Microsoft 365 environments
SFTP
Endpoint and Mobile Device Management

Skills Required:

Managed File Transfer (MFT) Systems
API Gateways and security
Proficiency in Google Workspace Environment or Microsoft 36
Networking experience (VoIP, WAN, Wi-Fi, LAN)
Networking Protocols (FTP, SFTP, DNS, RDP)
Setting up Windows Server environments (Active Directory, SQL Server, etc.)
Authentication & Authorization standards (SAML, MFA, Privileged Access Management)
Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Cyber Security and understanding the "Human Firewall"
Network Firewalls
Endpoint Security Software
Mobile Device Management
IT Controls such as ISO2700
SOC 1 /
Hardware and Software Troubleshooting

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Relevant Industry Certification
5+ years Experience in Enterprise ICT Environments
General IT Management skills (hardware and software)
Experience in Treasury Management Systems / Financial Systems / ERP implementation
