We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and diligent sales assistant to join our team in the retail industry.

As a sales assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Provide product information and guidance to customers
Process transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor
Monitor and replenish stock levels to ensure availability of products
Assist with visual merchandising and product displays
Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and achieve the company's objectives

Requirements:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and growth
Grade 12/N4 equivalent
Willing to travel
Willing to relocate
Good communication and interpersonal skills
