- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to customers who are using our AWS Networking services, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Networking Expertise: Possess good knowledge of the Media Layer of the OSI Model (Physical, Data Link, and Network) components and troubleshooting, as well as good knowledge of Networking (HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP, IPSEC) and routing protocols (BGP).
- Collaboration: Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues, and leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services.
- Communication: Drive customer communication during critical events, and write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community.
- Problem-Solving: Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
- Experience: 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience, with 2+ years of technical support experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, good knowledge of the Media Layer of the OSI Model (Physical, Data Link, and Network) components and troubleshooting, good knowledge of Networking (HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP, IPSEC) and routing protocols (BGP).
