Description

Our client, an established Importer, Manufacturer and Distributor of plastic injection moulded products, commercial and household lighting, garden and plastic products as well as household electrical appliances which are sold to the mass retail market and they are looking for a Business Developer to open markets within the Sub-Saharan African Territory.

Operating out of a Sales Office and large warehousing facility on the East Rand, the company offers consistent quality and innovative solutions to mass retailers as well as smaller independent stores.

The Business Developer will be fully supported to use their existing contacts and connections to open markets for the company in surrounding African countries.

You must have done business with the Mass Retailers and be willing and able to travel and spend time away from home.

Requirements:

A proven track record opening retail markets in African countries
Previous contacts/ network to immediately make an impact and the knowledge and understanding of the requirements of conducting business in other countries
Stable employment record is a must, we are specifically looking for a stable person who is willing to commit to long term employment
You must be able to converse fluently at a high level in business English.
Own transport is essential
Be in a position to travel for business
