Minimum requirements for the role:


  • A matric is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience having worked in an operations planning or a production administration role or similar is preferred.
  • Must have excellent written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); with a very good knowledge of Excel (advanced preferred).
  • Must have a good understanding of ERP Systems.
  • Must be able to read and understand quotations and specifications.
  • Must be familiar with the processes involved in the operations and productions environment.
  • Must have ideally worked with high quality control standards and be familiar with ISO standards and procedures.
  • Assisting the General Manager of production in streamlining processes with regards to all planning and administration and system tasks.
  • Assisting in creating and updating and maintaining the necessary systems and processes in the production areas to increase efficiency and productivity which can then be monitored live.
  • Creating and maintaining production schedules system on share point for production departments to access.
  • Assisting with creating forms and smart docs that will assist production and operations department in daily tasks to improve efficiencies and allow for effective analysing.
  • Assisting with analysing data out of the ERP System for ease of decision making.
  • Verifying necessary schedules from each department to ensure it is maintained accordingly.
  • Drawing up comparisons between quotes and specifications received for correctness and efficient decision making.
**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
