    Job Position: Risk Management Specialist (automotive finance)

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Chartered Accountant (SA) or B Com Honours (CTA) Graduate with completed Article
    • Minimum of 5 years plus Accounting and/or Finance experience, preferably within motor manufacture or related industries

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Initiation, preparation and creation of deep financial analysis for detection of financial stability as basis to award business to a supplier
    2. Mitigate or avoid the risk of production stoppages attributable to financially un-stable suppliers through the preventive and reactive supplier risk management processes

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Monthly reporting of the local suppliers calculated financial ratings to purchasing management
    • Consultation as well as collaboration with staff of risk management organization of the regions and brands as well as with reactive risk management regarding economical questions in financial critical situations of suppliers

    About the Role:

    This role is responsible for managing risk in automotive finance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial risk management and be able to apply this knowledge to identify and mitigate potential risks.

    The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accountant (SA) or B Com Honours (CTA) degree and at least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in the motor manufacture or related industries.

    The salary for this role is R50,000 to R60,000 per month, commensurate with qualification and experience, plus benefits.
