    Job title: Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition

    Description

    About the Role

    We are seeking a Strategic Talent Sourcing Expert to join our team at Tower Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned talent acquisition specialist to lead and drive our talent resourcing initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and cultivate excellent working relationships, gaining a deep understanding of their talent needs and requirements.
    • Bulk and manage talent pipelines to meet future needs and deliver a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
    • Lead and coordinate end-to-end talent acquisition services, including proactive communication and updates for key stakeholders.
    • Consult with the business to support targeted attraction strategies based on business drivers and research analysis.
    • Proactively source candidates through internal databases, alternate channels, referrals, talent days, and talent mapping exercises.
    • Provide market trends and insights to influence recruitment plans and engage with preferred suppliers as necessary.
    • Accountable for resourcing reporting, including analysis of performance against KPIs and insights to shape the business area's resourcing strategy.

    Requirements

    • Experienced talent acquisition specialist with a proven track record in managing complex recruitment portfolios for demanding clients.
    • Creative sourcing strategies for small- to medium-sized businesses.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, adapting well to priorities, demonstrating resilience, flexibility, and energy.
    • Effective communicator who seeks insight into business needs and acts as a knowledgeable advisor, liaising and influencing at senior levels.
    • Strong networker with commercial acumen and experience in dealing with tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
    • 3-year qualification in HR or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with expertise in developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes.
    • Experience in research, market mapping, networking, stakeholder management, vendor/supplier management, and SLAs.
    • PAN-African lens experience and ability to sell Company EVP as total value proposition are advantageous.
