    Description

    Purpose of the role: To ensure the Toolroom team delivers internal customer expectations for completion od moulddies and fixtures , training of personnel to achieve optimum productivity and quality.

    The ideal candidate must:

    Qualified Tool, Jig & Die maker.

    Minimum 5 years of Toolroom experience in the metals manufacturing industry in a similar role.

    ISO working knowledge

    Experience with automation and injection mould tool design and repair, press tools and forging

    Strong knowledge of raw materials and moulding equipment

    Strong computer skills to document and communicate processes that can be easily followed by internal team members

    Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

    Able to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions, using proven project management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving skills & "design for manufacture" skills
    • Strong ability to deal with and efficient in processing paperwork.
    • Excellent personal organisation and business administration skills in accordance with modern best practice methods
    • Personally, energetic, dynamic, positive, enthusiastic and possess the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making
    • Be able to get things done and make things happen to achieve the aims of production and business
    • Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
    • Possess the ability to implement and manage change in the business
    • Possess the ability to learn, improve and adapt
    • Possess strong computer skills and competency in all MS Office applications with the ability to adapt skills on any computer system connected with operations, CREO, Parametric and Autocam.
