    Description

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ER Consultant to join our TFG Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on employment law and labour legislation to ensure compliance across our brands and divisions in South Africa and Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide guidance on disciplinary processes and grievances
    • Consult with line managers on cases of misconduct and poor performance
    • Assist with research and development of policies and training material
    • Represent the company at the CCMA and Bargaining Council
    • Upload and update cases on the ER system
    • Stay up-to-date with employment legislation and case law

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in employment law and labour legislation
    • Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and legislation
    • Experience in representing employers at conciliation and arbitration hearings
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • HR-related or legal qualification
    • Experience in the clothing manufacturing industry or retail industry
    • Knowledge of employment law and labour legislation in other African countries
