Role Purpose:


Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of the Ethics and Compliance program.

The role exists to foster and strengthen "Tone at the Top" with country and business leadership and to support the development of "Tone in the Middle", empowering managers to lead on Ethics and Compliance risks in alignment with our Values.

Acting as an independent business partner, the Compliance Manager will support and advise management and staff, ensuring the business fulfils its duty to comply with outside regulatory and legal requirements, and with internal policies and standards, empowering the business to make ethical and compliant decisions, reinforcing trust from clients, business partners and vendors.

The Compliance Manager will provide independent feedback to the CBRE Excellerate Board on the current status of the compliance programme, broken down by country and business segment.

Feedback will be shared with local management and formulated into a plan to enhance to local ethics and compliance program performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the required compliance program deliverables are implemented and executed in a manner consistent to CBRE Excellerate standards and requirements, including, but not limited to:
Provision of strategic and tactical compliance advice to CBRE Excellerate and the Client.

Serving as the single point of contact for Client related queries related to ethics, compliance and process issues.


Conducting annual Risk Assessments, audits and reviews as appropriate to ensure compliance with the account contractual obligations and internal policy and procedures.

Supporting Client / Supplier compliance and risk activity including training and process improvements.

Drafting and/or updating appropriate policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, and relevant global policies. Ensuring applicable policies, account policy & procedure manuals are reviewed and maintained.
