Credit Control Manager ICT

Midrand - Gauteng - South Africa

You will be required to share the management of the full Credit Control Function and significantly reduce the ageing status.

there are 3 different legal entities in the Group. Share managing the day-to-day running of the credit control teams. Take responsibility and ownership of all processes, procedures and systems, recommending changes as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 3 years of experience Managing a credit control environment (similar size).

Size

A debtor's book above R200m and 2 000 clients.
Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) within the Credit Control environment.
Possess the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
Have a proven track record of good interpersonal and communication skills.
Be computer literate with various financial packages.
Possess a handson, cando attitude.

Key Result Areas:

Provide meaningful and accurate reports to management.
Manage customer enquiries and disputes regarding outstanding balances, resolving issues and dealing with management across the business as required.
Ensure customer details are kept uptodate and accurate.
Perform credit worthiness checks for both new and existing customers.
Manage the processes associated with seriously aged debt.
Liaise with debt collection agencies & solicitors for litigation purposes where required.
Lead, develop, mentor and coach your team to drive high levels of performance.
Take full responsibility for weekly/monthly debt and cash tracker reports whilst meeting strict deadlines.
Liaise with internal staff (Operational Staff) to ensure proactive timely and coordinated collections.
Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
