Description

We are looking to appoint a part-time lecturer for approximately 14 hours per week. - 6 contact hours during the day and 8 hours of virtual sessions presented in the evenings.

Lecturing:

Planning and managing of weekly classes
Preparation and delivery of learning content (In a contact and online learning environment)
Interprets content and develops presentations for presenting lectures.
Communicates, guides and monitors learners in completion of formative and summative assignments
Mark assessments for learners and provides feedback to learners within the stipulated marking and moderation cycle deadlines as per the National Assessment Schedule.

General academic administration:

Record student attendance
Identify students at risk
Set up additional support for students, when required
Record student results
Participates at campus staff meetings to sort out logístical issues and get updates on academic development, orientation issues, new teaching and learning techniques for learners

Minimum requirements:

Honours degree in Business/Commerce or related fields of study.
3 years industry experience
3 years lecturing experience (Experience in a project management environment would be advantageous)
