Senior Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair industrial machines and equipment, ensuring they operate within specified parameters.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members on the job, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement training programs for apprentice staff, focusing on their specific training needs.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed, reporting any hazards, accidents, or incidents promptly.
• Adhere to daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
• Be available for standby duty as required by the organization.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• Possession of an Electrical Engineering qualification or trade certificate, with a wireman's license in the relevant field.
• A minimum of 6 years' experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Ownership of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Proven expertise and knowledge in PLC and robotics systems.

Salary Information:

The hourly pay rate for this position is R144 per hour.
