Job Description:

Purpose of the Role:

The Communications Intern will assist the IMETA Communications Team with the planning, analysis and execution of a variety of internal and external communications projects.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Copywriting and editing (e.g. press releases, articles for newsletters, case studies).
Analysis of the success of communications campaigns and output through analysis of metrics and trends.
Creation of communications such as podcasts, infographics, videos, surveys, writing articles.
Assisting with internal and external campaigns as required

Ideal Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or higher, with coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity
A background in Journalism, English literature, Media or other related areas would be desirable and advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Research and analysis skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent verbal and presentation skills
Attention to detail
Good level of numeracy
Creativity
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Preferred Education

Bachelors - Journalism, Not Indicated - Creative Writing

Preferred Level of Work Experience

3 years
