Job Description:


Purpose of the Role:


The Communications Intern will assist the IMETA Communications Team with the planning, analysis and execution of a variety of internal and external communications projects.


Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Copywriting and editing (e.g. press releases, articles for newsletters, case studies).
  • Analysis of the success of communications campaigns and output through analysis of metrics and trends.
  • Creation of communications such as podcasts, infographics, videos, surveys, writing articles.
  • Assisting with internal and external campaigns as required

Ideal Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, with coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity
  • A background in Journalism, English literature, Media or other related areas would be desirable and advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Creativity
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education

Bachelors - Journalism, Not Indicated - Creative Writing

Preferred Level of Work Experience

  • 3 years
