Job Description:
Purpose of the Role:
The Communications Intern will assist the IMETA Communications Team with the planning, analysis and execution of a variety of internal and external communications projects.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Copywriting and editing (e.g. press releases, articles for newsletters, case studies).
- Analysis of the success of communications campaigns and output through analysis of metrics and trends.
- Creation of communications such as podcasts, infographics, videos, surveys, writing articles.
- Assisting with internal and external campaigns as required
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, with coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity
- A background in Journalism, English literature, Media or other related areas would be desirable and advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Research and analysis skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Good level of numeracy
- Creativity
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Bachelors - Journalism, Not Indicated - Creative Writing
Preferred Level of Work Experience
- 3 years
