    Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Position at Centurion

    We are seeking a skilled engineer to fill this leadership role, requiring expertise in mechanical design and first principle designs. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills in addition to their technical knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Direct and manage engineering personnel, ensuring efficient utilization of design resources.
    • Customer Interface: Collaborate with customers to establish design priorities and delegate work to assigned engineers.
    • Project Management: Manage project timelines, communicate milestones, and plan for non-compliance in a timely manner.
    • Design Review: Organize internal reviews to ensure designs meet soundness and compliance standards, and lead reviews with customers and suppliers.
    • CAD Design: Lead CAD design efforts and contribute to the development of mechanical designs.

    We welcome applications from experienced mechanical design engineers who can effectively balance technical expertise with leadership skills.

    Requirements:

    • B Eng or B Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • 10-15 years of mechanical design engineering experience
    • Strong understanding of 3D CAD design principles
