Responsibilities & Duties
The responsibility of a Recruiter is not exhaustive and may change from time to time as decided by Management.


People Responsibility:


  • Identify Hiring needs and fill job openings
  • Identifying future hiring needs.
- designing and drafting job descriptions,

  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Completing recruitment trackers and reports
  • Preparing for training groups timeously (Attendance register, training tracker)
  • Communicate the start of the training group to all the relevant stakeholders timeously.

Business Responsibility:


  • Keeping abreast of employment law and legislation
  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Post adverts on suitable platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pnet, etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with the hiring manager and any others involved in the hiring process.
  • Completing recruitment trackers and reports
  • Managing background checks and reference checks
  • Adhere to admin deadlines in submitting documents and reports

Key Performance Measures:


  • Meet recruitment timelines for different positions
  • Retention of consultants recruited at least a month
  • Recruitment Reporting to business and its outcomes
  • Personnel management (absenteeism, late coming, managing staff issues)
  • Quality of the new recruits

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detailoriented
  • Remains uptodate with employment legislature
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Good decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to meet business timelines and handle pressure

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Recruitment: 1 year and above or a starter with appetite to learn quickly.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary, Internship, Contract, Permanent, Learnership

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
R6, R14,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- iRecruitment: 1 year (preferred)
