    Description
    Role: Group Payroll and Benefits Administrator
    Location: Gansbaai
    Salary: R

    Responsibilities:
    • Efficiently capture and maintain leave records for all units using VIP software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Prepare and maintain appointment and termination summaries, essential for audits.
    • Facilitate pension and medical aid applications, processing them accurately within payroll systems.
    • Collaborate closely with managers to authorize summary reports promptly.
    • Manage union payment requests and garnishee payments for employees.
    • Ensure compliance by registering employees for UIF and completing monthly declarations.
    • Handle various administrative tasks including issuing UI-19 forms, salary schedules, and maintaining employee records.
    • Facilitate EMP501 returns bi-annually and annually, alongside generating IRP5's.
    • Provide regular reports to the HR Manager and update payroll reports for HR records.
    • Collaborate with finance for reconciliation and submission of pension fund contributions, EMP201s, and monthly salary payment schedules.
    • Assist with ad hoc reporting for HR, finance, and auditors as needed.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • At least 2 years of experience in a payroll-related role.
    • Proficiency in Sage VIP Premier Payroll & HRM software.
    • Additional certification in VIP/Pastel/HR Administration is advantageous.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
    • Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Resourcefulness and proactive problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Capacity for multitasking and effective time management, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
