Phoenix, KZN. Established concern in the Transport / Logistics industry seeks well-experienced Depot / Workshop Manager with experience in a supply chain workshop environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage all workshop employees
Booking services daily and scheduling of services as per annual service schedule
Ensure jobcards is available for all repairs, services and maintenance
Ensure all jobcards is signed of and quality checks were done
Ensure all trucks and trailers are in a roadworthy condition
Conduct monthly fleet audits and monthly tool audits on all workshop and technician tools
Weekly inspection on all breakdown vehicles and all logsheets
Scheduling of all shifts on a weekly basis
Managing and authority on overtime
Sign off all attendance registers, leave and sick leave and report to Head Office
Arrange monthly stock takes
Weekly spot checks the stores and audit on stock
Ensure quotes have been send to the client and PO's obtained for work
Ensure the work in progress has been managed daily
Ensure invoicing is done accurately
Disciplinary process needs to be followed on employees for misconduct
Ensure housekeeping is kept to standard
Ensure all PPE for employees is been checked monthly and a register is kept
