Other key responsibilities will include the following but not limited to:

Review of the tax returns and the related payments for the legal entities in Northern Africa (e.g. CIT, VAT, WHT).
Transfer pricing: Implementation of guidelines, support tax wise in implementing business models. Coordinating and review of the TP documentation prepared by the legal entities and advising on TP audits.
Support tax planning initiatives.
Identifying and minimizing exposure to tax risks in the countries tax matters.
Managing the relationship with the Taxation Authority and other relevant government agencies and external consultants and advisors.
Providing support and advising business management on tax implication of operations.
Assistance in providing country specifics in international projects.
Actively educating managers and relevant personnel on tax issues and inform about new relevant tax developments.
Liaising with external consultants as and when needed in Morocco as well as all other countries within responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

Hons. Degree in Finance, Economics or Law (Master's Degree will be an added advantage)
57 years' experience as tax consultant in multinational companies or as tax advisor in a reputable tax consultancy
Excellent knowledge of tax planning, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
Analytical skills with detail orientation
Must be a "gogetter"
Must be able to operate independently
Good project management skills
Must give attention to detail
Deadline driven
Fluent English, French and Arabic will be an advantage
Must be able to travel in Africa
