    Education & Experience (minimum requirements to perform the job):
    • School : Grade 12
    • Post School: Diploma or Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.
    • Professional registration ECSA and PMP preferred.
    • Job Related : Valid unendorsed Code B [previously Code 08] drivers license.
    • Experience: At least 10 years related experience of which 5 should be in a managerial position.
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure projects.
    • Experience in managing concurrent projects and prioritizing resources and tasks.
    • Capacity: Experience in the tolling environment will be an advantage

    • The physical demands are those required to work in an office and inside and outside of buildings

    • The work environment characteristics are those encountered within a typical toll road operation, largely site work with the office bound duty of admin and attendance of meetings
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Project Planning and Strategy
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budget and resource allocation
    • Create project strategies and define project objectives to align with the company's overall goals
    • Conduct risk assessments, manage project risks and issues, develop and implement appropriate contingency plans to mitigate potential project risks
    • Project program management
    • Ensure project deliverable meet quality standards and are completed within budget and on time
    • Compile and manage project installation/implementation plans
    • Review and understand contractual specifications and obligations for each project and ensure projects meet specifications
    • Oversee and manage ad hoc projects as and when required
    • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities
    • Provide guidance, direction and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle
    • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to promote high team performance
    • Plan activities and manage performance of subordinates

    • Oversee and manage the design, build and installation activities by Nominated Subcontractors across multiple projects
    • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards
    • Regularly monitor and communicate project status, milestones and risks to stakeholders and management and highlighting and manage any issues that arise
    • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve project management methodologies and processes
    • Manage project meetings with customers and stakeholders, ensuring that all requirements are understood and met
    • Ensure all project documentation are maintained in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ensure all health, safety and security policies and procedures are followed
    • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and FIDIC processes
    • Maintain and enhance relationships with project stakeholders and role-players
    • Analyse user requirements and specifications to determine compliance of design submissions
    • Evaluate all system practices and recommend improvements and modifications to enhance efficiencies

    • Ensure TCS systems are adequately maintained as per procedures and client requirements and ensure timely response and resolution of any maintenance issues
