    Job Title: Training and Development Specialist

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Michelle Taylor Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, creating educational materials, and mentoring employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and deliver training programs to employees and clients
    • Create educational materials, such as workshops and seminars
    • Mentor employees to improve their skills and knowledge
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma in electrical engineering
    • Trade Test Certification as a qualified Electrician
    • NQF level 7 qualification in electrical engineering
    • 5 years industry work experience, including 2 years as a Training instructor, Assessor, and Moderator
    • Experience working with SETAs

    Additional Requirements:

    • Certificate of competency on Skills Development Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator
    • Accreditation by the National Artisan Moderating Body (NAMB) as an Assessor
    • Certificate in Occupational Directed Education, Training and Development Practices

    Core Competencies:

    • Knowledge of submission of Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Report
    • Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Excellent organisational and communication skills
