Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Red Ember Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our business, including labour management, store orders, and discipline and grievances. Additionally, they will be responsible for promoting non-recurring business and attending monthly meetings with Regional Managers.

Key Responsibilities

Labour Management: Ensure accurate attendance records, labour allocation, and adherence to fixed asset policies.
Store Orders: Authorize and submit store orders promptly.
Discipline and Grievances: Maintain discipline using the company's code and procedures.
Communication: Keep staff informed of policy changes and prepare contingency plans.
Payroll Management: Ensure that staff are paid according to the contract.
Client Meetings: Attend meetings with clients and ensure prompt action on any issues.
Promotion of Non-Recurring Business: Promote the company's full range of non-recurring business offerings.
Monthly Meetings: Attend monthly meetings with Regional Managers.

Requirements

Experience: Experience in a management role within the industrial and commercial industry or a similar service industry.
Education: Minimum: A matric certificate is required.
Sales Exposure: Must have a track record of sales.
Industrial Relations: Familiarity with industrial relations on a shop floor level.
Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours as required.
