    Description

    **Business Development Role**

    To maintain and expand our business within agreed rates and credit policies by promoting the image, products, and services of our individual units available in buildings assigned to sales agents and the Ithemba Group as a whole.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Process incoming prospective leads from various platforms by contacting applicants, verifying provided information, and obtaining additional details when necessary.
    2. Respond to incoming communications on all platforms, monitor requests, identify requirements, and provide automated responses to inquiries.
    3. Contact prospective tenants to assist with queries, provide necessary information, and ensure lead verification before transferring the lead to the sales agent.
    4. Gain a thorough understanding of lease charges outlined in the pricelist and the lease process to communicate this information clearly to prospective tenants.
    5. Support prospective tenants in completing required application forms and assist them in understanding the application process for a smooth transition.
    6. Aid in closing deals by confirming payment of the lease fee and/or full deposit from prospective tenants.
    7. Collaborate with the transfer team by identifying tenant needs, offering guidance, and assisting in the seamless transfer process between buildings.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required

    1. Grade 12 (Essential)
    2. Real Estate Qualification (Advantageous)
    3. Minimum 1 year Sales Experience (Essential)
    4. Excellent Telephone Etiquette
    5. Effective Communication Skills
    6. Ability to Speak at least 3 African languages
