    Overview: As a Technical Steelwork Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of production components for scaffolding, racking, shelving, and formwork. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, you will utilize your technical expertise to create detailed drawings and specifications that meet quality standards and production requirements.     Responsibilities:
    1. Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications for steelwork components used in scaffolding, racking, shelving, and formwork.
    2. Collaborate with engineers, production managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop design solutions.
    3. Utilize Auto CAD software to produce accurate and precise drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
    4. Perform calculations and analysis to determine dimensions, materials, and structural integrity of components.
    5. Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate feedback and ensure accuracy.
    6. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to provide support during the production process and address any design-related issues.
    7. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in steelwork design and drafting.
    8. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the reliability and durability of manufactured components.
    9. Maintain organized documentation of design files, drawings, and revisions for future reference.
    10. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth project execution.
    Requirements:
    1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Steelwork Draughtsman or similar role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
    2. Diploma or Higher Diploma in Draughting, Mechanical Engineering or related field
    3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant design tools.
    4. Strong technical knowledge of steelwork design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
    5. Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
    6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating drawings and specifications.
    7. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative design solutions.
    8. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    9. Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
