As a key member of their infrastructure services sector, you will lead critical water and sanitation projects, contribute to strategic planning, and provide vital support in realizing the future vision of the business unit.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic management of engineering projects related to bulk water and sanitation
    • Plan, design, tender, and monitor construction for large, multidisciplinary bulk water projects
    • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project success while maintaining high-quality standards aligned with specifications and standards
    • Mentor and develop junior staff members
    • Collaborate with other senior staff to secure new clients and expand business opportunities

    Essential Requirements

    • BSc/BEng (Civil) degree and ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (PrEng)
    • 15-20 years of relevant experience in bulk water and sanitation infrastructure design
    • Professional registration with SCAPCMP preferred
    • Accomplished leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication ability
    • Proven budgeting and cost management experience

    Technical Proficiency

    • Expertise in Civil Designer, Civil3D, AutoCAD
    • Familiarity with GCC2015, SABS1200, and COLTO standards
    • Proven experience with greenfield and brownfield projects
