    JUNIOR SOMATOLOGIST

    CENTURION - Gauteng, South Africa (ZA)

    START: May 2024

    REPORT TO: Salon Owner

    TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

    • Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 (9-hour shift)
    • Saturdays & Select Public Holidays08:00 - 16:00
    • CLOSED on Sundays

    SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

    • R8,000 - R10,000 Basic Salary per month (Based on Experience / Based on Skills)
    • Services Commission for any services performed by you
    • Retail Commission
    • Discretionary incentives

    QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Matric
    2. National Diploma Somatology / Health & Skin Care Diploma - minimum requirement (2-year diploma)
    3. ITEC / CIDESCO accredited
    4. BONUS - Advanced Diploma or Dermal Aesthetics
    5. Beautifully groomed and highly presentable
    6. English & Afrikaans confident

    SKILLS | EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES:

    • Skilled and confident to perform all standard Somatology services (Skin Care, Body Care & Grooming)
    • At least 2 years experience working in a salon or aesthetic clinic
    • Laser therapies / IPL - bonus
    • Chemical Peels / Advanced Facials with resurfacing agents - bonus
    • Slimming Therapies / Endermologie - bonus
    • Cruise Ship experience beneficial
