    Description

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to lead the development of key features in our Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program. As a key member of our Amazon South Africa Marketplace Team, you will be responsible for managing product development, identifying and solving complex business challenges, and influencing key partner teams to drive initiatives to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish a deep understanding of the FBA process, Seller Reimbursement process, and Seller pain points to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Lead the development of scalable solutions to enhance the seller experience and customer satisfaction.
    • Identify and track key metrics, align goals with respective owners, and monitor progress with stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement mechanisms to drive visibility on defects and performance.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Tech teams to establish a product roadmap that reduces defects and improves seller experience.
    • Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders through effective communication and influence.
    • Partner with global product teams to identify and influence the development of new products and services.
    • Manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure the right features are built with the right quality at the right time.
    • Launch product features locally in collaboration with worldwide teams.
    • Address barriers through problem-solving and coordination with stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
    • Experience in product or program management, supply chain, operations, or technology.
    • Proficiency in SQL and data analytics.
    • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
    • Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
    • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
    • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or MS in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in supply chain, e-commerce, operations, or retail.
