Financial/Administrative Assistant


Our client is a Commercial Fishing Companies Group based in Hout Bay, Cape Town, and they are looking for a Financial/Administrative Assistant to join their team.


This position will mostly be in the office, so our client will prefer someone who lives in the Southern Suburbs.

They need someone who will be able to manage the office when the Financial & Administrative Manager is out.


Responsibilities

  • Debtors
  • Creditors
  • Basic Weekly Wages
  • Petty Cash Recons
  • Filing / Scanning
  • Data Capturing


  • Online Banking

  • Advantage
  • Ability to make bookings.
  • Recoding dates for record keeping and notification for upcoming audits/assessments.
  • Other Ad hoc administrative duties as requested.

Requirements:


  • Own transportation
  • At least 3 years' experience in a Finance and Administration position.
  • Strong MS Word and Excel skills (our client uses this for everything so it is imperative that this is a strong skill)
  • Detailorientated
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Pastel Accounting will be an advantage.

Salary

  • R R15 000 cost to company based on experience.
