    Description:

    Icebolethu Group is a leading provider of dignified burial solutions, an Authorised Financial Service Provider (FSP45714), and a Level 1 BBBEE Contributor. We are seeking a skilled Organisational Development (OD) & Performance Specialist to join our team based in Durban.

    Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

    • Honours degree or postgraduate diploma in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or equivalent.
    • Registration with the SA Board for People Practices (SABPP) is preferred.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • At least 7 years of experience as an Organizational Development (OD) specialist & Performance Specialist role.

    Skills and Competencies required:

    • Prioritizing and resource allocation.
    • Judgment.
    • Integrity.
    • Communication.
    • Operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and conduct relevant organisational surveys using quantitative & qualitative methodologies providing management reports with OD recommendations.
    • Establish and manage an on-line survey platform to monitor organisational health and effectiveness.
    • Identify relevant OD interventions to improve the organisation climate and culture.
    • Train Human Resources Business Partners & Line managers to effectively manage climate and culture change.
    • Facilitate team development interventions, strategic planning, leadership development, organisational redesign, and change management.
    • Consolidate and Analyse exit interview reports.
    • Act as custodian for the Competency Framework.
    • Act as an ambassador for learning and growth.
    • Coordinate the Coaching Programme including coaching impact.
    • Coordinate an assessment centre working with external consultants.
    • Coordinate the performance and succession planning systems.
    • Manage Change Management interventions and projects across Icebolethu Group.
    • Design and maintain the methodology for creation of positions, job matrix and job profiling.
    • Audit job descriptions for consistency with internal policies and procedures potential strategic or operational changes.
    • Design job creation and profiling training for managers and HR Business Partners.
    • Cooperate with human resources on grading of job positions.
    • Establish a Project Management and Reporting system for all OD initiatives.
    • Be the liaison between external consultants delivering OD Projects.
    • Benchmark, develop and implement Organisational Design (OD) best practices policies and processes.

    • Translate approved resource plan into the organogram and ensure it remains updated.
    • Compile information on organisational system and structure.
    • Project management of consultancy projects.
