    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage community development projects within set time and budget frames to achieve intended benefits.
    • E nsure compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
    • Assist the Superintendent Socio-Economic Development with community development tasks and projects.
    • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
    • Project manage and evaluate initiatives.
    • Effectively manage budgets and control costs.
    • Maintain legislation compliance.
    • Provide administrative support in the office.
    • Ensure SHERQ adherence and compliance in your area of work.

    Requirements:

    • National diploma (NQF level 6) in Social Science or equivalent qualification.
    • Certificate in Project Management (NQF level 5).
    • Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or equivalent qualification (recommended).
    • A minimum of three years' operational experience in community development project management within the mining industry.
    • A minimum of one year's experience in project administration and project management (total of three years' operational experience).

    Essential Skills and Competencies:

    • Proficient in computer applications: Word, Excel, MS Projects.
    • Familiarity with statutory knowledge: Municipal Act, BBBEE Act, Mining charter, Municipal financial management Act, Labour Acts.
    • Strong project management skills, including coordination, planning, budgeting, and cost management.
    • Effective budget management and cost analysis.
    • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across different levels.
    • Understanding of business processes, national development plans, and social labour plans.
    • Familiarity with procedures, policies, and processes.

    Please note that you must meet medical fitness standards and have a valid Code B/EB driver's license.
