Requirements:


  • A Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification (preferably a
Diploma/National Diploma or Degree) coupled with

performance management experience

  • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience and at least
3 years' supervisory experience

Key Performance Areas

  • Conduct research on technological development,
benchmarking and performance improvement

  • Lead, develop and implement an integrated Improved
Performance Management system in the City of Cape Town

in order to ensure continuous individual performance

improvement

  • Ensure maintenance of Individual Performance Management
system

  • Design training courses and material
  • Provide professional advisory service to line on Individual
Performance Management

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends thereby developing
initiatives for areas of improvement

  • Manage the performance management information in order
to comply with audit requirements

  • Ensure support to the moderation committee to enable
informed decision-making

  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders detailing the
status of performance management implementation

  • Drafting of reports and ensure accurate record keeping of
performance management processes

  • Network with relevant stakeholders
  • Management of staff to effectively measure performance
including but not limited to leave management, performance

and development
