Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for a Shift Supervisor who will be responsible To provide adequate technical support and assistance to ensure that the client's core business operates smoothly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To ensure that property and associated equipment is maintained to the highest level and always in a good state of repair.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Maintenance

  • Carry out maintenance tasks / repairs as associated with an operation such as Tsogo Sun, involving plumbing, air conditioning, lighting, locking mechanisms, carpentry, civil work, painting, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, electrical equipment.
  • Perform standby duties as and when required.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to TFS and Tsogo Sun Management.
  • Plan, supervise, control and manage activities of maintenance staff.
  • Attend to any request that gets reported by the Helpdesk and delegate accordingly.
  • Ensure that all jobs completed are signed off by the Helpdesk.
  • Carry out remedial work and report back on completion thereof, on job cards.
  • Ensure correct and precise recording of all work undertaken.
  • To achieve optimum work output from maintenance staff.
  • Provide feedback on critical observations to the Site Manger as well as on work carried out by maintenance staff and subcontractors.

Sub-Contractors

  • Supervise onsite contractors and procedures, ensuring they provide service as per SLA agreement.

Preventative Maintenance Programmes

  • Where outside contractors are used, ensures that such contractors perform to the extent that is listed in the SLA's and that they do all the work necessary to rectify the problem timeously and without needless expense.
  • Ensure that proper preventative maintenance schedules and equipment registers are maintained at the unit.

Audits / Inspections

  • Perform inspections and audits as may be required.
  • Assist with the Quality Control of closed calls.

Training

  • Ensures that regular training needs analyses are conducted for maintenance staff.
  • Personally, conducts onjob or offjob training as needs may necessitate.

Other

  • Prepare and submit reports as and when required.
  • Purchase spares and material as required for work that needs to be done.
  • Collect spares from suppliers as and when required.

ISO 9001; 14001 and Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Standards

  • Adhere to the TFS's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System's Policies and Procedures of as applicable to this position.

Ad Hoc

  • Any reasonable action requested by management.

Qualifications:


  • Grade 12 (Std. 10)
  • Qualified Artisan-Electrical or Millwright. (N4 or equivalent).
  • An Engineering tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum five (5) years industry experience
  • Minimum three (3) years Management experience in a similar environment
