    Job Description:

    My client, a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare, is seeking a Project Administrator. This role will manage and coordinate operational and administrative activities to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of an equine and canine sanctuary.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Operations Administration and Compliance
      • Conduct risk assessments and develop policies to maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with audits.
      • Support managers with HR, finance, and operational processes.
    2. Financial Administration
      • Maintain financial records and prepare reports.
      • Assist with budgeting and audit preparation.
      • Oversee procurement and asset verification.
    3. Human Resources Administration
      • Manage HR records and staff leave.
      • Support recruitment and payroll processes.
    4. General Administration
      • Support project management with day-to-day tasks.
      • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

    Requirements

    • Matric certificate.
    • Minimum 5 years experience in an administrative role, with financial administration and budget management exposure.
    • Ability to manage financial records and budgets.
    • Familiarity with NGO-related compliance and regulations is a plus.
    • Must be an animal lover.
