- Pricing Control & Improvements
- Supplier Ratings: Ensuring the system is updated with the latest pricing at all times
- Obtaining justifications from suppliers for any pricing amendments received
- Obtaining the best possible prices from suppliers
- Supplier Certification: Daily liaison with planning coordinator, suppliers, stores and receiving personnel with regard
to supply - Supplier Quality Claims: Support Plant in resolving any claims against suppliers.
- Comply with audit requirements
- Ensuring monthly supplier ratings are updated; Ensuring quarterly supplier performance report is updated
- Continuous Improvement: Identify potential areas of improvement.
- Project support
- Sourcing of Raw Materials during project phase.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Matric/NQF4, Supply chain management, purchasing or engineering diploma will be advantageous
- Initiative, self--starter with a high level of energy and curiosity starter with a high level of energy and curiosity
- Excellent administrative skills
- Experience with sheet metal, stamping parts and metal components desired
- Experience in the automotive industry (OEM, tier 1, tier2) desired
- Advanced computer skills ––MS Excel, MS Outlook, ERP skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, ERP skills (InforLNInforLN, Oracle), Oracle)
- Ability to handle pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical ability
