Job Details:


A digital bank with a strong entrepreneurial identity and a high-performance culture is looking for a Card Operations Consultant to perform many functions daily, ranging from investigating and remediating of card transaction disputes logged by customers, remediation of transaction exceptions due to outages, settlement balancing and reconciliation and manual processing of related financial transactions.

All the functions to be executed with the focus to provide excellent customer service to bank customers, participant banks, and internal customers and to avoid any financial loss to the Bank.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the Card environment meets its goals and operates efficiently and effectively in line with the internal and external customer / client expectations and agreed SLA's
  • Comply with operating processes to ensure quality, accuracy and operational targets/SLAs are met.
  • Support to remedy service breakdowns and to maintain the highest level of customer service and prevention of financial loss
  • Monitoring of feedback and quality controls of all queries, escalations, and complaints.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of customer
  • Resolution of exceptions daily, to avoid all unnecessary financial loss.
  • Ensure that all process changes and new processes implemented are adhered to.
  • Adhere to the policy frameworks related to payment processing to ensure accurate financial transaction processing, i.e., customer refunds and any other financial journal processing.
  • Accurate MIS to be maintained to contribute to overall capacity planning and SLA tracking and management.
  • Limit / prevent all potential losses to the bank by ensuring that laiddown instructions are adhered to in all areas of operations.
  • Ensure that all Visa rules and regulations related to card disputes are understood and adhered to.
  • Build and maintain sound, supportive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timeous logging of any operational incidents to ensure prompt remediation, reducing customer impact and possible financial loss
