- Supervise and motivate store staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist with staffing and scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and promoting a positive work environment.
- Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention, maintaining a secure and trustworthy environment.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards, creating an inviting and engaging shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for both employees and customers, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the Store Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in retail or a similar industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management procedures, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be available for on-call duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business or a related field.
