We're recruiting a Unit Manager

  • Theatre to lead a multidisciplinary team in a Theatre Department in the private sector. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing daytoday patient care, supervising, directing, and developing nurse staff, and reporting to the Nursing Manager to ensure quality patient care within a longterm care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.

Requirements:


  • Diploma/Degree in General Nursing Care
  • Post basic qualification in Operating Theatre is mandatory
  • Post basic qualification in Management will be an
    advantage:
  • Valid registration with SANC
  • Experience in a Theatre environment is
    advantageous:
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in a hospital
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Must be able to function effectively independently
  • Good understanding of the private healthcare sector
