    Description

    Job Title: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Asource Recruitment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage project budgets and costs related to construction projects
    • Prepare estimates and cost reports, tracking variations and movements in turnover/profit
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost control and management
    • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize project outcomes

    Requirements:

    • BTech or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (NQF 7)
    • Knowledge of construction claims legislation (NEC4, JBCC)
    • At least 3-7 years of relevant experience in a similar Built environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and BuildSmart
    • Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills

    Preferred Competencies:

    • Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 and BuildSmart
    • Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize and focus on deliverables
