About the role

You will be a member of the Group Treasury team in WorldRemit. The role holder will be responsible for assisting in analysis and development of the firm's FX activities.

The role holder will help develop and manage the firm's electronic trading and risk management capabilities and will contribute to strategy and design of front office systems and processes.


As a member of WorldRemit's Group Treasury you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what's right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company's technical direction and long-term decision making.

Reporting to the FX Manager, Treasury Team, you will:

  • Developing knowledge of WorldRemit's FX products and services
  • Execute FX trades with counterparties including banks and clients
  • Develop and enhance EFX trading capabilities
  • Collaboration with the middle and back office treasury teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of trades/ trade settlements
  • Analyzing and interpreting FX data to create visibility for internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and deliver FX content for commercial presentations
  • Involvement in improvement and automation of FX processes
  • Continuously helping to improve the robust control environment of the team
What we're looking for from you- Strong academic background, a quantitative degree is preferred- Minimum 1 year work experience in a relevant industry- Interest and knowledge in FX and global financial markets- Tech / programming skills (Java, Python etc) preferred- Good working knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint- Ability to communicate complex information effectively- Analytical and logical approach to problem solving- A high level of attention to detail- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
