    Product Specialist Job Opportunity

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our dynamic team in the motor vehicle industry. This role involves advancing sales for advanced product offerings, collaborating with business managers and the service division, and conducting product demonstrations at customer sites.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Support Sales: Drive revenue growth by promoting error proofing, software automation, and workstation products.
    2. Project Assistance: Work closely with the Project Manager to execute key projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
    3. Sales Development: Lead sales efforts for error proofing, software automation, and workstation products, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    4. Collaboration: Foster collaboration between business managers and the service division to achieve sales targets and ensure smooth project delivery.
    5. Product Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and demos at customer sites, showcasing product features and benefits.
    6. Agility: Demonstrate flexibility to support the team and business needs, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
    7. Team Participation: Engage actively in meetings and strategy sessions, contributing ideas and expertise to drive business growth.
    8. Supplier and Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, driving efficiency and satisfaction.
    9. CRM Usage: Effectively manage interactions and data using the CRM platform, ensuring accurate records and informed decision-making.
    10. Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
    11. Travel: Travel within South Africa on a weekly basis, with occasional international trips as needed.

    Requirements

    1. Certificate in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering.
    2. Engineering Degree is advantageous.
    3. Experience in manufacturing/automation environment and working with projects.
    4. Technical sales ability.
    5. Knowledge of LAN/Wireless network topology, database structures, and production line networks.
    6. Some experience in AutoCAD/designing is an advantage.
    7. Software skills (MS Office software, SAP, CRM).
    8. Dynamic, result-oriented, and self-motivating individual.
    9. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
    10. Team player and open-minded individual.
    11. Fluency in English.
    12. Valid Driver's license.
