_Role and Responsibilities_ _:

Local Procurement
- Ensure entire order is delivered as per P/O
- Ensure correct documentation has been received
- Ensure quality and pricing have been checked for acceptable standards and competitiveness
- Expedite and follow up with suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolve material, value discrepancy, and outstanding and overdue delivery of orders, warranty claims, repairs and damage, and return of materials
- Sourcing of new materials and alternatives to current products, in order to mitigate supply challenges
- Maintain supplier price list folder monthly
Imports
- Sourcing new suppliers globally
- Sourcing globally of new materials and alternatives to current products, in order to mitigate supply challenges
- Sourcing support service providers
- Reporting back to operations regarding delivery and potential delays
- Calculate Estimated landed and accurate final landed costs
- Ensure calculated landed costs *are agree with Sage average cost
- Arrange, track and expedite deliveries/shipments via Courier/ Air/ Sea
- Follow up on deliveries/shipments
- Courier/ Air/ Sea
Exports (Assist with the following):
- Cross border customer liaison
- Export documentation management/clearing agent liaison
- Sourcing support service providers
- Arrange, track and expedite deliveries via Courier/ Air/ Sea
- Follow up on shipments
- Courier/ Air/ Sea
General
- Price negotiation with entire supply chain
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Sourcing & provision of costings of adhoc goods, materials, components or services
- Inventory analysis
- Excel based MRP monthly
- Update of monthly general pricing of products for sales department
- Forward planning on procurement (local & cross border)
- Monthly stock take participation for all departments
- Assist management with special projects on occasion
- Halaal & Kosher Management
- FSSC supplier compliance
- FSSC Team member (document attached)
- Any reasonable Ad-Hoc requirement from the linemanager and/or senior management
Salary:
R20, R25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
